I'm Chris Ballas with me, Doug Skeen, Michigan's five-time Big Ten champion, former NFL player, former All-Big Ten offensive linemen skiing. It's been a while since we had an Ohio State post-mortem. I don't like it. You know what? I liked it a lot better when we were talking about wins and upsets and everything else and championships, but kind of feels like the pre-Gim Harbaugh era a little bit when you look at this game and how lopsided it really was.

And I think people will look at the score and say, well, it was a one score game at halftime. But you could kind of tell with the way that Ohio State had been playing this year and how they had

been built with outstanding defense and the way that Michigan had gone into a shell that this

one wasn't going to end well for the Wolverines unless there was some kind of a

completely unexpected turnaround in the second half and we obviously didn't see that so disappointing

skiing um you know people can talk about the defense all they want to I thought there were times that their players in the second half and we obviously didn't see that. So disappointing, skiing.

You know, people can talk about the defense all they want to. I thought there were times that their players were just better than Michigan's on a couple of those past plays. There were times

when Michigan's players were out of position, which shouldn't happen on the long ball.

And, but more than anything, it was the offense that was just anemic, I think negative eight yards rushing in the second half, if I'm not mistaken.

And you aren't going to win any football games like that.

No, no.

So, okay, so first things first, if you just look at the rosters, the greatest imbalance on the field was obviously the Ohio Statewide receivers versus the Michigan wide receivers.

And then, of course, the Ohio Statewide receiving crew versus the Michigan secondary.

Now, yes, Ohio State has superior talent in those position groups, probably versus most teams in college football.

But let's just set that aside.

Take Jeremiah Smith out.

Take Carnal Tate out.

Those two players alone, let's just take them out.

And then the other young man, number one, they caught the touchdown pass in a little shallow route.
