We both had slightly different experiences leading up to this point, but we were both able to get in front of the television at 258 on Sunday for the supposed bracket reveal for the NCAA tournament of college hockey. And 20-something minutes later, we still had no idea

what was going on. It was a big deal when they said they were going to announce the top

four seeds like we were children and didn't realize that the top four seeds had been locked in

for, was it like a week? Like, they weren't going to move after the semifinals of all of the conference tournaments.

Yeah, they were set a week ago, but they'd basically been those four teams for most of the season.

Which is also true.

And then they're like, we're going to tell you the top four seeds are 10 minutes into this show.

And it's like, we've known that for longer, apparently, than you have.

Like, we, so then I think the, then they show what, the Gavin McKenna feature after talking

about players to look for at like 312.

And then they're like, we're going to give you a feature on

Gavin McKenna who you know in some worlds almost missed the tournament there if they had to save

it at the end but um like we've watched I've watched the basketball show for a while and

I've actually never watched the football one because it feels like that's generally been

straightforward for the most part.

But even like with the basketball selection show, like they get to that stuff pretty quickly.

They do it very quickly.

Like even though if you get the fourth regional, sometimes you have to wait a little bit longer, but they're at least going through a regional and talking about it. And then they... And then they... Yeah, they might give you the first four seeds, but within five or six minutes, like, you're, you know, knee deep in one of the regionals, right? And they're talking about it. Yep. This had to be a thing where they're trying to get, like, viewership to as high as they're ever going to have it.

Like, it was an hour show talking about 16 teams, most of whom the country has never heard of.
