September and you're like well one of these weeks we're gonna have to start

this and we're gonna have have to get stuff together for the

preview and start thinking about hockey and it's it always just sneaks up on me.

Maybe that's because of like you know football is usually starts really fast but here we are for a hockey preview and it's like 80 degrees outside.

How is your summer?

I mean talk to you through mediums like this in months.

Yeah, it was a pretty decent summer, I think.

Hockey is a long off season in college hockey.

In college hockey.

And in the NHL, not as much, but college hockey off season not as not as gone by since then the Olympics were

oh yeah were fun this summer did you go anywhere did you get to do anything

outside of Ann Arbor that was interesting?

A little bit, not too much travel, but that's fine.

It was decent weather this summer was a little cool for a period of time and then it was quite hot.

We didn't have as many of those like 80 degree days that we normally get.

It's like 90 or 70. Yeah, it was a little odd in that way, but we had a exciting late summer into September run from the Detroit Tigers.

I was about to bring up baseball.

Playoff game number one.

If you would ask me on August 1st, what the chance of that was, I would have said 0%.

So at the beginning of the year, what's a bigger surprise?
