The Welcome to the Michigan Hockey Cast 6.6, where maybe this time we're glad the second hockey game was during the football game. The Okay, Alex, in the spring we had to talk about one of the worst starts in North American

sports history.

And now, not too far from where those games were played we might be able to do it again in a

different sport in the same town not the same town but I mean it's it's same functionally the

metropolitan region. Well okay they don't play in the same building but well

say and Oakland are quite different. Okay but like so are Auburn hills in Detroit. Yeah they're same

metro area. Okay. Anything else you'd like to nitpick while we're at it? No

that's just an important thing to point out. That's San Jose. It's the thing of like when people are like, oh yeah, I'm from Detroit, but they're actually

from Rochester or Bloomfield Hills.

I mean, no, you're not from Detroit.

You're not hard enough to be from Detroit. You're from Michigan.

Okay, so the San Jose sharks have played nine games, ten games? I believe ten or eleven let me pull up there.

ten or eleven games and they have taken one point from making it to a shootout in like game two of the season?

It was very early in the season.

Yeah.

And I remember because it was against the abs.

I was... They got out shot like 50 to 20.

Yeah, I mean, we probably should have been like four or five to one something like that.

But so that's their only point and on top of that they've also just been massively obliterated plural times this week.

They played two games this past week.

They lost 10 to 1 and 10 to 2.
