Talking about a Michigan team, Tim, that is off to a better start than many of us expect it.

Let's just start out with a welcome and how exciting it is to be doing this at the start of the Jawan Howard era.

I'm ecstatic. I'm fired off to work with you as well, Sam. But the start to the Michigan

basketball season has so far exceeded all of my expectations. I'm proud of the way the team has

played, the way they compete. I'm filled

with optimism for the season. And that's even after watching the Louisville game last night.

So I am, I'm looking forward to talking little Michigan hoops with you.

All right. So before we start talking specific games, you know, obviously they won the

Battle for Atlantis and, you know, three, three outstanding performance. Two outstanding

teams likely to be NCAA tournament teams. And then Iowa State, who has one of the best players

in the country, Tyrese Halliburton.

Before we get into that, though, Tim, I was curious your thoughts on something we hear,

Joanne.
