Los Angeles and she's T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-, but trust me. Everything else is well and truly on the table, because this is a woman who is celebrated

and loved for her candor, her inclusivity, and no-holds barred approach to life.

Adopted by her parents as a three month old baby,

she was raised in New Jersey

before moving to New York to attend drama school.

And in New York she found her place and her people.

She joined a band, Seduction. They were big on the dance charts and she also became synonymous with New York's late 80s and early 90s club scene. In fact, she was a prolific voga, which is where she met the world's most celebrated

drag queen RuPaul who's been by her side as a friend and a colleague ever since.
