I am Connor Beaton, and joining me today is Michaela Bohm.

Michaela is one of the most in-demand teacher, speakers, and counselors to be found globally today.

She's born in Austria.

She received degrees in psychology and further extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, and neuralistics, and neural linguistics programming.

Upon moving to the United States in 1994, she established a 20-year counseling practice,

logging over 40,000 client hours.

She quickly became a counselor to the stars at Hollywood, California, and her ongoing clients

include Oscar-winning actors, producers, writers,

multiple Grammy-winning musicians, CEOs, and multi-billion dollar fund managers.

So you may have seen her or heard her recently on the red table with Jada Pinkett Smith.

She is Will and Jada Smith's sort of personal counselor,

and she was on there talking about relationships and communication and sexuality,

embracing sexuality, how we can bridge the gap with our partner and be able to communicate more of what we want. So Michaela talks about a lot of things. And if you can't tell by the title

of this podcast episode, we dive into some interesting topics. We don't talk too much about anal sex, which may be disappointing,

but certainly we will have her back on and potentially dive into that deeper. But we talk

quite a bit about, quite extensively about grief, which is showing up a lot in our current culture.

We did record this episode probably about six weeks ago, maybe seven,

seven or eight weeks ago. And so this is a little bit before all the events have happened

in the United States with George Floyd and a lot of rioting and protesting. So please do keep

that in mind as we dive into this subject matter.
