I don't know, something is really wrong with the popular demands that you're being

foisted upon you if that's the state of affairs.

Well, I think, well, I'll tell you why I think people want to hear me talk to you.

Okay, yeah.

I think you are one of the best people on Twitter because your takes are unorthodox,

you're not tribal in terms of team bread or team blue,

and you genuinely get upset by what I think

is the number one issue to get upset about, which is advocacy for war.

And the fact that people can blindly talk about war in the same way that they can talk about you shouldn't wear white after Memorial Day to me is one of the great

horrors of contemporary politics.

Okay, well thank you. No, I think that's accurate, you know, when I think about it now and I try to step away from myself, which is not entirely possible because we're all living in our subjective realities but I do think

that I am abnormally incensed when I feel as though there are partisan talking points that could cloud the reality of what

war is.

And I think in the Trump era especially you have Democrats assuming talking points

opportunistically that put them in a certain box and for whatever

kind of sick depraved reason that box is often a hawkish box because in discrete arenas trump actually has you
