The money people make, or the recognition they receive, is not a measure of their contribution to the common good.

  • It’s easy to outsource this kind of moral judgment to markets, but Michael thinks that’s a mistake.

I think we sometimes overdo it. I'm struck especially in the US setting when there are places

And most of them, according to the admissions officers, are well qualified and able to do the work

and do it well to flourish at these places. So my suggestion in the book and it may get me into
