Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the forward podcast. My guest today is Michael Mueller.

Now, for those of you who haven't heard of him, you've certainly seen his work. He's photographed

some of the biggest celebrities, actors, politicians, athletes, influencers all over the world.

And he's also very prolific on the commercial side shoots for tons of big brands.

This isn't necessarily what attracted to me, although as I perused his website, he's taken

some amazing photos that will live on forever. I think the one that speaks to me the most or

the one that stuck out the most was after the passing of Kobe Bryant. Many of you might have

seen the cover of Time Magazine with Kobe on the cover standing on the court bowing. Well,

that was Michael Mueller. And as I met him and sat with him for a good 90 minutes, I realized why

so many people that view time as their most precious commodity trust him because

he's got a great vibe, great energy, does amazing work, very time efficient. And just just a

cool dude, we jumped straight in. I mean, here lately, I've been wanting to kind of go deeper

with folks. And he came in ready. I was saving it for the end. And he just he came out guns

of blazing. I said, shit, let's go. But we've, I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and the

folks that have had a preview of it did as well. It quickly became one of the one of the favorite

episodes, one of my favorite episodes that we've ever done here on the forward. So thank you

to Michael for that today is it probably don't know this, but today, because I didn't know this

until they told me a few weeks ago, but today's shark awareness day. This is a big deal to Michael

Mueller. Tons of misperceptions out there about these beasts. And as I call them, the guys with the

gray suits underwater, but they are everywhere and they're quickly being depleted from our world's

oceans. But we wanted to drop this today in recognition of that as well as in recognition or in

conjunction with his new film, which is called Into the Now, which is a film mostly underwater.
