I'm going to interview Michael Malice, very likely the foremost proponent of anarchism alive today about his new book, The Anarchist Handbook. the

Although I'm going to be honest with you, well I always enjoy talking to Michael,

he's a very smart man and a friend of mine. I struggled to get on top of the concept of

anarchy in this episode. I am for limited, competent, and responsive government, what we might call boutique government.

But I am not for its wholesale abolition.

I don't think that would or could ever work.

The anarchist mind operates very differently from my own

Enlightenment-soaked brain.

So at times in this interview you can all but hear the gears in my head struggling to compute.

Originally, I wrote a long, wordy preface to today's episode about the Enlightenment and

school of thought from which most of my

bearings are from and the role of government and what constitutes legitimate areas

of society for government to exercise authority and and so on and so forth.

And I have scuttled all of that.

I've scuttled it.
