Poems are just song lyrics written by people too lazy to learn guitar.

I couldn't agree more.

Frankly, I have no idea why the medium of poetry didn't become entirely redundant after the

invention of the ukulele.

Yet, here we are. Fortunately, Los Angeles is hideous

isn't just clever lyricism. It's a funny coffee table book slagging the most criminally

unpleasant municipal carbuckle in these United States,

possibly even the world.

So if you like having funny objects on your coffee table, or you have fled Los Angeles and want to confirm that you made

the right decision.

Maybe you have a niece or a nephew who are planning to go out to Tinsultown after graduation

to try and make it big, and you want a hilariously passive-aggressive way to protest their doomed plan.

Or maybe you're just one of the millions of innocent bystanders who have seen and now cannot

unsee the Urban Sphincter, which is Los Angeles, and require a professional comedian to help you work through the aesthetic trauma.
