thrust into existence by random chance with no hints at all as to how we're supposed

to make sense of it all. It's immensely bizarre. Here we are.

Hello everybody and welcome to the here we are podcast. This is a great episode because

it's a return guest and as always their return guest is probably because they're good.

It's so weird for me to one of these days I'm going to like reach out to the biggest

dud that I've ever had and just like give him a second shot. But you know we have a return

guest that it's going to be good. This isn't just a return guest. I think you are setting

the record right now. For here we are appearances. We have Michael Garfield joining us with

the Future Fossils podcast. Michael and I became friends in 2006 teen I think. I was just

going through all of the I went through all of my past guests lately and was emailing

and getting guest suggestions for the Mind Under Matter Campo Festival etc. Can I have

a lot of science talks? Wish you could make it. You're such a responsible family man now.

It's wonderful and horrible and different. Yes. And I was like oh my god. I forgot how early

I had you on I think you were you were in like the first six months of the show or something

You and I are not at all the people that we were when we met. Yeah I mean I mean I think that's

pretty great that we're both flexible adaptive creatures. I mean there's I'm trying to think

of things that I've gotten worse with. I feel like I've I've gone in a decent direction in terms

of improving on myself in ways and adapting but I'm always I've always been like trying on new

Shane outfits to see what they they feel like and I just I don't know I don't know if it's

like you know have a new girlfriend or something like that that'll make an impact on my life or I
