Hey, this is the moment. I'm Brian Koppelman. Thanks for listening. So in

Hollywood, there aren't that many people that you can really say you've been

through the wars with, both professionally and personally who we really like, you know, true friends and

today I'm sitting with one of the great producers in the entire business, a guy nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Picture,

and also the guy who really helped put Paul Thomas Anderson on the map and many other filmmakers.

Michael DeLuca has been head of production or president of a couple of different movie studios, most notably

New Line in the 90s and then as a producer made a series of unbelievably successful movies and television shows and has just taken a job as the chairman of MGM back in the studio game.

Again, we first met in 1997.

Mike Greenlit, developed in Greenlit,

movie David and I wrote and directed called Knock Around

Guys and we have never been out of each other's lives since and I'm

thrilled to get to talk to Mike who is one of the smartest guys in the business
