Welcome, everybody, to the Jim Acosta show. It's Monday, February 17th. It is President's Day.

Get you caught up on everything that's happening. I do want to tell you a little bit about some breaking news out of Toronto.

Before we get to some of the other day's news. The Toronto Star

reporting that a plane has crashed at the Toronto Pearson International Airport appears to have

flipped upside down. One pediatric patient was transported to the hospital with critical injuries

according to flight radar 24. This is according to the Toronto Star, the Delta Airlines

flight from Minneapolis arrived at 2.13 p.m. The plane had room for about 75 passengers, and

the airport confirms on social media that all passengers and crew have been accounted for. We're waiting to

find out yet whether there are any fatalities, but there are some injuries at this point. So I'm going to

tell you more about that as the hour goes on if we get more information. But I do want to talk to

Michael about this. It is President's Day here in the United States, even if the current

president has been sounding less than presidential over the weekend. I'm sure you saw this,

Trump posted this message on X saying, quote, he who saves his country does not violate any

law. The White House social media account reposted that message, ladies and gentlemen. Observers immediately noticed

that Trump was apparently quoting Napoleon, who made himself emperor in the 1800s. Senator Adam Schiff

spoke from any Democrats when he tweeted that Trump had spoken like a true dictator. Trump

in the meantime spent his Sunday at the Daytona 500, a trip that cost taxpayers

millions of dollars at a time when he and Elon Musk are slashing workers in the federal

government all in the name of efficiency. A week ago, Trump attended the Super Bowl. All of this

raising the question, no, the question is not, does he get his tickets on Stubhub?
