Whenever I'm in a small town I like to drop by whatever the used bookstore is because you always find the most

obscure things you find things that would only be owned by old people who died and

the problem with used bookstores in a big city like

well Toronto the one where you and I live is they're often very picked over you know

cities are full of eccentric like you and me who want to own these things but small towns

nobody cares I was at one recently and I found this book I never heard of this before

it's called the Search for Sunny is a Novel by Mickey Rooney.

You see here he is on the back, and he's old, right?

That is indeed Mickey Rooney.

This book was published in 1994. Now I haven't read this book yet, but I do want to read you the Dust Jacket copy,

and I may never read this book, honestly.

A tale about Hollywood and a fabulous child actor of the old

wearing long pants. He was the world's hottest box office attraction at 16. And at 19 he was the envy of the world

when he bedded and wetted one of Filmland's classic beauties. By the way, for scholars of Trivia, that would be Ava Gardner, you know, if we're doing a direct one-to-one autobiographical reading.

It sounds a little bit autobiographical, I don't know.
