What can I say?

Life gets in the way sometimes, as I found out

while watching this week's movie, Solaris.

That is.

You know, as Andre Tarkovsky once said,

life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans.

Anyway, this is a film culture and politics podcast,

and there's perhaps no single event which epitomizes those three things together.

More than the Oscars, folks, which I feel like we talk about,

or I should say you talk about a pretty embarrassing amount on the show.

I wasn't intrigued enough by some of your tweets today to want to talk about them,

so I'm not really up on the Oscar stuff you're riffing on, Will,
