Every day I get up and pray to John.

I tell you Luke, my spirits are a little lower today than they often are my energy

level isn't what it usually is you know we don't always feel like going to work in the

morning but but we do.

And I know that you are recovering from a nasty bout of COVID as well.

So it looks like a rough day for the boys.

Looks like the boys are just kind of slowly easing into this one right how's your recovery coming?

Oh it's all right I mean I'm fine having COVID again sucks there's not much more to say about it.

I missed one of my best friends wedding. I'm stuck indoors for 10 days now, but yeah, definitely on the mend. I've been kind of doing a mixture of working. Like the past few days have been able to work again and just watching

movies that I feel like I probably wouldn't get around to under normal

circumstances. I had a period early in this bout of COVID where I had like the aches really bad my head hurt really serious muscle soreness as if I'd been lifting but of course I haven't and it was actually preventing me from sleeping so I had two or three nights

where only got like four hours of sleep or whatever and this one morning I got up at like five and for some reason it possessed me to watch Ang Lee's film The Ice Storm. A film I have seen before,

and actually a film which I enjoy, but it's like, how often in my life am I getting up at

like 5, 530 and watching Angles the ice storm not very often.

I did a Tom Cruise double header the other night quite inadvertently.

I watched Edge of Tomorrow.

Hell yeah.

That movie's fucking great man. I've That movie's sitting around just like in my you know Netflix list because it just looked like

oh this is a sort of a trashy fun you know fucking Tom Cruise sci-fi movie where he's got a mex suit or something.

No it's actually it's really fucking well done it's really clever.

I feel vindicated because you may recall that ten years ago almost exactly I came to your apartment one day a day after seeing Edge of tomorrow and I told you oh I saw this movie Edge of tomorrow with Tom Cruise I got to say I really love Tom Cruise he's just a great movie star and you looked at me with disbelief you said because in fairness to you this was not long after the infamous couch jump era.

Tom Cruz's stock was not what it is now.
