Luke Savage, welcome back everyone. The two of us are recording in person for the first time,

and well how long has it been? Ten days, two weeks.

About that, a couple of wounded warriors here again. I know that's become a recurring theme on

the podcast. Both of us are exhausted and wounded from our respective travails, in my case,

trying to take a giant project to the finish, and in Will's case, spending a week in Tuscany.

Yes, terrible. Although, listen folks, I will say, I feel very thrown out of whack by

experiencing the worst jet lag of my life at a horrible flight. You know, should I even do this

riff or is it just going to be sounding like first world problems, talking about how uncomfortable

I was in my economy class seat, how painful it was that the person next to me, I was in the middle

folks, okay? No word of lean, no word of stretch my legs too, okay? That's how much I have suffered,

and then imagine this, I know that this is really painful, but imagine, I'm sitting here just

trying to watch my little movies on my little screen, trying to pass the time, person my right,

their asleep on their screen, what's on their screen, the little map showing the plane,

and where the plane's progress is, for the whole flight. Now, what do I want to do? I want to

keep my eye focused on the movie, and then when the movie's over, look at the map, and be like,

look at that, look at how far we've traveled, but no, I can't do that, because in the corner of my

eye, I'm always seeing, fuck, the plane is still over Iceland. Can I just go a little further?

Can I go a little bit? So yeah, that's the pain that I was going through, not a lot of sleep

the night before, just jet lagged, very tired, totally unplugged as well from what's happening

in the world, so I'm kind of hoping Luke here can help me with that, let me know, I assume all
