I'm along with my co-worker Jordan Bianchi, and we are

motorsports writers here at the athletic. We are here to talk about the Michigan NASCAR race, which

we just finished watching. We haven't talked or compared notes yet on anything that happened.

So I'm really interested to get Jordan's takes and we'll

digest it all. But first of all, Jordan, how are you doing today? I'm doing well. I look forward to

talking about this race to you. And as this was unfolding today, I'm like, oh, this is just queuing up for a

classic Jeff Gluck rant. I can't wait

for him just to go off because I know what he's going to say. We were texting about it a little

bit about this race, not the podcast, but this race. And I'm just looking forward to inevitably

your rant, which is going to be coming. No, I think you're going to be sorely disappointed,

Okay. Sorry, everybody, but the rate, the thing about this race is like, this is another referendum on the package and what you think about the 750 versus 550 and the style of racing and restarts.

I was watching this race, especially late when you had Blaney, William Byron, and Kyle Larson battling there.

And it looked like Kyle, I mean mean I think it's fair to say

Kyle Larson probably had the fastest car today all day and it looked like he had a run on Blaney

...
