We've had a lot of comments about our guests this week, Mia Kalefa. And before I get into introducing her later on here

in the intro, let me just say one thing right quick,

so you guys can either choose to hit play or pause or or delete or not.

We've had a lot of feedback on the social channels about Mia and about the decision to have her on.

I just want to say at the top of the show, first of all,

this was one of the best episodes that I have ever sat through.

I come to this from maybe a unique perspective that all of the perfect people on social media don't come from.

But I come to this discussion being me, and me being me and knowing how people view me how parents, mothers, fathers, grandparents,

friends, aunts, uncles, coaches, administrators, teachers view me.

You know, there's a lot of people that would, that I've been on other podcasts and

people say I can't believe you stooped to the level of having

him on. So I came to it from a different perspective than maybe most.

And when I asked her to come on the show months ago,

Mia said that she would, she'd love to come on.

She's listened to a few of the episodes, but that she didn't want to talk about that part of her life and she didn't want to talk about her family.

Which was a tough situation for me.

I thought, okay, we could probably have a fun conversation,

but I want to know what that was like.

What led you to make those decisions? What do you think about those

decisions now? And so I just waited and eventually she called me back and said
