So Michigan, there's a really interesting gap

between the Vegas line, which is Michigan minus 1.5 and the SP Plus line which is Michigan minus 9 which just does not happen these days.

Vegas has cotton on to the fact that SP Plus is a pretty good metric

and there's a lot of other analytics out there that more or less come to the same conclusions and these

days it's very rare to find a line that deviates

from the fancy stats spread by more than a couple of points and usually if that does happen what you have is you have opt-outs or you have injuries or you just have a lot of other factors that these stat things can't take into account. Not the case here. Michigan did lose Zack Zinner, but

Zinner is not worth the touchdown on the line. No offense to Mr. Zinner.

So part of this is Vegas has staked out a position here because approximately

80% of the money from the public is on Bama and the line to move from two and a half

when it opened to one and a half now so you have a situation where Michigan should

feel pretty confident based on what everybody has done this season but

because it's bama because they beat Georgia everybody is projecting that

Alabama is gonna win this game which you can see in the Bruce Feldman anonymous quotes articles that people get riled up about.

I mean, people get riled up about the truth sometimes but it was the
