We're a little bit late because I forgot it was signing day.

This didn't used to happen. What used to happen is February 2 was like this like nationwide orgy of recruiting information, not Alex.

But then they moved it to December and it kind of got lost in the

shuffle and now with the portal it's like everybody's talking about oh are

they getting at Dante more are they gonna at J. Sean Barham?

And like, oh, the recruits who might play for us

in three years or two years or transfer somewhere else.

It's a different world out there, guys.

Well, we had one announcement we were waiting on today. It was Edopayi and he decides to go at the

same moment that we were going to launch this podcast and bar him goes at the same time

so like all of our news just kind of compressed to that one little spot yeah that's I mean

that's what like the current state of this seems sort of untenable before we actually get into the actual recruits is that it kind of feels to me like they should go back to the old signing day.

Just have all the coaches, get all their stuff put away, have the portal open and

close, and then at that point everybody could make better educated decisions about what they're going to do both coaches and

I mean, it's become, yeah, signing days nothing like what it used to be like you said Brian,

matter of fact, even as somebody who does this full time, I made plans to go to Chicago

tomorrow and realized on Monday that signing day was on Wednesday.

It's, yeah, I mean, it just creates a whole another situation for staff.

I mean, Michigan fortunate though, because they didn't really, this was the most stress-free
