Halloween just has a history of being weird for michigan But I feel like this one, a lot of Michigan

fans are going up to East Lansing. A lot of Michigan State fans seem to be checked out on the

Jonathan Smith era, which I would say is premature, but, you know, every fan base is a little,

is a little weird, and that was always kind of an awkward fit. Where are you with Michigan State

right now? Well, it's an interesting kind of check-in on them because a year ago we played them

about this same point in the season and things were going pretty well at that point. They were

coming off a really good win against Iowa at that time. They were four and a really good win against Iowa. At that time, they were

four and three on the season, seemed to be on track to make a bowl game and kind of exceeding

expectations at the time. And since that point, it's gone pretty poorly. They finished that year

one and four, including the loss to Michigan. and they are now 3 and 4 this season.

But when you boil it down to Big 10 games, it's an even grimmer picture, 1 in the last 9 big 10 games.

And this team is not very good.

They haven't played very well this season. And I am not really seeing a lot of

players being developed, which is concerning. And the state of Michigan State's recruiting is also
