Michigan takes on the Northwestern Wildcats.

an OG blogger who's a very interesting

guy and an excellent writer.

But first we want to get the lowdown

on the Northwestern Wildcats from Alex, who has to leave.

Alex, what did you see this week in your film study?

They're fine pretty pretty uh what's interesting

about them is they're is they're very consistent their offense has gained a similar amount of

yards against a lot of teams and the defense has a pretty consistent range of outcomes if your

offense is mediocre versus if your offense is really good. And they've beaten the teams they're

supposed to beat, except maybe Penn State, but whatever happened there. They took care of business

against Purdue, took care of business against UCLA. They were definitely overmatched against Oregon

and USC.

And then the Nebraska game was pretty close.

That one came down to the wire.

But for the most part, Northwestern's performances are pretty predictable, and they seem to

reflect who they play more than themselves.

So every game that Northwestern has played against a Big Ten school, they have between 115 and 163 passing yards when it's all set and done.

Right. That's the consistency I was talking about. And Preston Stone was their big pickup in the offseason. And it's interesting because two years ago, he was a pretty good starting quarterback at SMU.

And then he lost his job last season to Kevin Jennings.
