Michigan did not win.

Dual national championships.

And it's all set the national championship of basketball.

They did not quite do that in hockey.

Fake. They played well enough, too, if you ask me.

Yeah, they did.

Fake tournament.

I mean, I will say that they tied it at 3-3 in the second. Denver did. And I'm just kind of like looking at this. And I'm like, I don't even necessarily. I mean, I cared. But I was like, I don't think that if they win or lose from this point on that it means anything about like who they are. Who they are? Yeah. No. I mean, you want to carry the legacy of ending the drought, and you want to be the team that overcomes and slays the demons. Yeah. But I'm not going to think negatively about this team, especially after the way that they played in that game. Like, Alex and I elaborated yesterday on the hockey cast about the different losses in the last number of years in the Frozen Four.

And we got to the point of where we were all like, well, they kind of deserved it because they lost because of what they did wrong.

In this case, I don't think that was justified.

That was a big bummer. I mean, they've...

Was it bad?

I mean, it was just tough, you know? Like, this was the best that I've seen them play in a

Frozen Four game in terms of controlling play, controlling chances, and they were right there.

Like, they got to three minutes away. The light was at the end of the tunnel. It was in within reaching distance. And Denver gets three shots on goal in the third period. And one goes in. And it wasn't like a brutal breakdown or anything like that. It's just a brilliant deflection right at the side of the net. But it's not just three shots in the third period. It's one shot in the final nine minutes after Perron takes the lead.

They get one shot that goes inside of the red posts.

The five minutes or so between when Perron scored and then that goal was terrific.

I mean, Denver wasn't hemming them in.

They weren't even really in that end of the ice at all.
