I got, so portal, portal's closed. So, no more, no more portal? Well, for now, there's no more portal. So, like, a year. They don't open it again in the spring. Well, there's a grad one. Right? No, you got to be in the portal. Oh. Even if you're, like, a grad student, you've got to be in the portal. Now, if you're, if you have a head coach change, then there's a portal window,

and then there's a portal window specifically for Miami and Indiana players after the national championship game.

And that's a real weird sentence to say out loud.

So the process is getting better, right?

Um, I mean, it's good that we're narrowing this down well it's good that the portal didn't open until january second for michigan's purposes because before it opened

like december 20th and michigan would have been in Bone City if that had happened.

So, you know, they compressed the window and they took away the spring window.

So what you see is what you get.

So after the portal has closed, there might be some late flips or whatever, but the roster

pretty much is what it is now.

So you can enter the portal. You just can't exit it until next January? No, you can't enter the portal. Oh. Even if you say, I'm going to transfer. You can announce that you're going to be in the portal next year. Going to be. I mean, when people say I'm in the portal before the portal opens, what they mean is is I intend to enter the portal when it's open. Well, this stuff needs clarification here. That's why I'm asking the questions. But now it is closed. So anyone who is not currently in the portal is locked in to their current school. Unless I think if they're a recruit and they can still do flippy-dippy businesses if they haven enrolled early oh yeah okay so so that would only be for incoming freshman right so if you've if you've

actually been on campus like moa was you have to be in the portal but if you're not an early

enrollee you can still ask out of your letter of intent or whatever it is whatever it is

whatever it is now the meaningless piece of paper

three letters signals that you're going to attend the college but doesn't really matter yeah

well you also have to get out of your nil deal which is probably a little bit more binding well

we're seeing some of these teams like fight back yeah so you know do you blame them no i don't don't. DeMond Williams is getting out of the portal and Washington was like, well, sue your ass. And then he was like, oh, I don't want to get my ass suit. So he went back to Washington. And like there's this talk about Dary and Mensa, the two-lane quarterback who transferred to Duke who entered the portal at the last second because Miami hadn't imported their random dude.
