safety. I'll run down a long list of things you can do to be as safe as possible on your runs,

and I'll put many links in the show notes. One, you've heard this many times. Don't run alone.

Now, of course, realistically, I know there are likely many instances when you

end up running alone, but there's a huge difference between running in the park during the daytime

when there are lots of people around and the opposite situation, running alone in the dark in a

secluded area while listening to headphones. Just be smart. If the situation is questionable,

avoid it. No run is ever worth putting your life in danger. I know many times you don't have any

option but to run alone. And many times you may even prefer to run alone, but only do this in a

location at a time that you know will be safe. If you run with
