For years, I've tried to think of a hometown murder, but I kept coming up short.

Then I realized, if you're looking for stories about parents neglecting their kids in the 90s, I got you covered.

A while ago, my older sister messaged me saying, what would you think of parents leaving their 10 and 12-year-olds in a bed and breakfast full of strangers completely alone for the weekend?

And I answered, what kind of awful people?

My Favorite Murder is a true crime comedy podcast hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. Each week, Karen and Georgia share compelling true crimes and hometown stories from friends and listeners.
