Journal editorial page. This very much underlines the power of Amlo, the man ahead of the

the Marina Party, who we're led to believe hand-picked his successor, the former mayor of Mexico City, Claudia Shinebaum,

facing a businesswoman, an entrepreneur, and a former senator, Sotio Galvez.

What are we watching for on Sunday?

What is significance about this vote?

Because the polling indicates it's a little up-sided at the moment.

Yeah, the polls do suggest that Claudia Scheinbaum is going to win the election.

She's the hand-picked successor to Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador,

and she's running on the Morena Party ticket.

And she's probably going to win,

but it's possible that it's going to be a lot closer than what a lot of the official polls say.

One problem in Mexico is that the government has funded either overtly or covertly a lot of the polling.

So you tend to get some distortions there.

Also, when they use household polls that go door to door, you tend to undercount the

middle class which doesn't answer the door anymore at this point. So I think some of those polls may be overstating the strength of

Scheinbaum, but I also think she's the odds on favorite to win. I think one of the big things we'll be watching on Sunday is

turnout because the Galvest campaign has always told me that if they get turnout in
