The Wall Street Journal's Mary Anastasia O'Grady, the America's columnist is here to help me with interpretations of candidate Trump,

former President of the United States, with regard the USMCA.

When asked in an editorial confrontation between the candidate and the members of the

editorial board, there was some tension in the room, but there was also humor.

The question was, if elected, would Mr. Trump respect the USMCA

that he negotiated in his offices in his first term.

Good evening. Well good evening John. Yeah unless is well it starts with China. He doesn't want China making investments in Mexico, but it goes on to sort of include everything that Mexico that might happen in the trade relationship

between the US and Mexico that he doesn't like. Basically if he looks at

what's happening with trade vis-à-vis Mexico and he doesn't like what's happening

because he doesn't think it's good for the United States, he will not respect it and then that opens a whole can of worms which

we can talk about but that was the unless. With regard to the USCA, it replaced NAFTA. What is profound that we should pay attention

to this time, Mary? Is it the same issues, how much of cars made here and there and subsidies and environment or all those things to be repeated

in the USMCA under Mr. Trump to your understanding.

Well you know when he said that he was going to renegotiate NAFTA, a lot of people were very worried because there's huge investments in Mexico and U.S. manufacturing uses inputs from Mexico heavily relies on them and also its relationship with Canada.
