So, hey, you know, today we have a guest who's been on the podcast in the past.

We've talked about a lot of things of conservation, landscapes, and species of the Southwest states.

And Jim Heffelfinger is the wildlife and science coordinator for Arizona Game and Fish.

But he's also one of the key team members for the recovery program of the Mexican Wolf.

And you've heard me talking this summer about all kinds of species.

And I've heard about the various the bears and we've had scientists talk about all kinds of different science issues.

And I always try to get in a little bit of that space where science and social demands and politics all kind of mix up in the same pot.

And Jim is really a student of this stuff.

He's been around a long time right and leading on things and his science background is, you know, just as top nodges you can get.

So, I wanted to talk to him about the Mexican Wolf program.

I also want to talk to him about the politics of the Colorado Wolf reintroduction and what that could do to set back the work on the Mexican Wolf re covering.
