I was one of the five people appointed from Montana, along with five from Idaho, five from Wyoming.

And we worked with the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee to help craft the conservation strategy that would be implemented upon the possible de-listing of Grizzly Bears and the greater Yellowstone Region.

Chris Servene, who is our guest today, has spent his entire life researching, studying, leading, coordinating, all the things related to Grizzly Bears.

He got a PhD doing research work on Grizzly Bears and then became the coordinator of the US Fish and Wildlife Service efforts to get bears recovered.
