Summary

Legendary Eagles guitarist Don Felder joins for a deep dive into his extraordinary musical journey – from co-writing Hotel California and jamming with Joe Walsh to opening up “The Vault,” his new solo album featuring 50 years of unreleased material to growing up in Gainesville, Florida and playing in bands with Duane Allman and Stephen Stills. Felder reflects on his days with The Eagles, how he created unforgettable riffs, his unique relationship with Joe Walsh, and why “Hotel California” almost didn’t sound the way we know it today. He shares the inspiration behind his latest work The Vault, reveals how he unearthed forgotten demos from a Malibu storage unit, and what it was like collaborating with icons like Steve Lukather, David Paich, Jim Keltner, and Todd Sucherman. Plus, Don also talks about his upcoming “Brotherhood of Rock” summer tour with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, his views on playing live today, and the pressure of performing one of the most iconic guitar solos in rock history perfectly every night.
