A lot going on right now.

A little bit of a smorgasborg as far as news of the day.

Let's get to a couple of things.

First, of course, the two big baseball signings,

Diaz goes to the Dodgers. I think this was a missed opportunity for both the Mets and the Yankees.

If I were, if I were the Mets, now the Mets supposedly made a very realistic offer. That's fine.

But I don't know why they wouldn't go the extra mile for diaz who i think

they needed in the worst way i also think if the mets were going to allow dyes to move on i think

the yankee should have been there and should have been there in a big way i think he uh would

have been a welcome addition i I would love him as to close

next year for the Yankees. Now, there's a lot of talk that he wanted to go to the Dodgers.

I mean, Dodgers, let's be honest, has become baseball heaven for a lot of players. Great weather,

movie stars, championships. What else can you ask for?

Big stars in the lineup, exciting baseball every night. They've become what the Yankees used to be.

They've become the big rock star. You know, if you go back into the 90s, into the 2000s, the Yankees

were the rock stars of baseball. They were enormous stars back in the days, Priya Rod, back in

the days with Bernie and Jeter and Mariano and Andy and on and on and

and O'Neill etc that you know wonderful team that won championship after

championship including 14 straight world series games obviously the AWRD years were incredibly tumultuous, produced one championship.

It's been a very, very slim picking since.
