If metaphysics, as we have been discussing it, is about the nature of what is,

then you might think the goodness is not a topic in metaphysics,

From the Thomistic perspective, that objection would be based on a serious mistake. Goodness is a central topic in metaphysics, and morality is, in fact, based on metaphysics.
