Another AI deal for META, an $8 billion contract for Boeing, and WeGoVi is cheaper in China.

Meta is buying Manus, a Singapore-based AI startup that builds general purpose AI agents.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Manus was originally founded in China by butterfly effect technology and later moved its headquarters

to Singapore, where it will continue to

operate. The startup reached a $125 million annual revenue run rate shortly after launching a

subscription AI agent. The tool is used for research, coding, data and stock analysis, and resume

screening.

The acquisition supports CEO Mark Zuckerberg's focus on expanding META's AI infrastructure and monetization strategy beyond the Metaverse.

It is Meta's fifth AI-related acquisition in 2025.

Boeing has been awarded a contract for as much as $8.6 billion from the U.S. Air Force to build

F-15 fighter jets for the Israeli Air Force. The contract provides for the design, integration,

instrumentation, test, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15 IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force with an option

for an additional 25. The Pentagon said the work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri and

expected to be completed by year-end 2035. Separately, the U.S. Air Force said Boeing received a

modification to a previous award for Depot Maintenance Services and Supply Management in Oklahoma City, raising the award to $4.2 billion from $1.5 billion.

Novo Nordisk has reduced the price of its GLP1 medication WeGoV in China, where it is approved for weight loss.

Bloomberg reported, according to local media, list prices for the two highest doses were cut by nearly 50% in several provinces.

The move comes as simiglutide's patent in China will expire in March, setting the stage for a flood
