So many of you have reached out this week and said you're going to turn it all off.

You're going to tune it all out.

That the holidays are here and you're going to take a really nice, long, extended weekend with your family and friends and not pay attention

to all the things going on in the world. And I think that is a reasonable approach for all of us.

I think we have earned that this year, those of us that care, those of us that have gone out

of our way to try to make the world a better place, make America a better place,

make your community a better place, or just make your home a better place.

There's a time to power it down, shut it down, rest it out, and enjoy the holidays with your

family, your friends, the people that you love so much.

And Jessica and I, on behalf of our family, wish you and your

family the very best this holiday season and Christmas weekend. It's going to be a great one.

So we're going to intentionally, intentionally, because of listener feedback, intentionally,

stay away from anything negative here today on our final

podcast before Christmas. We're going to send you off into the holiday weekend on a positive

note. We'll spend a little time here talking sports, some fun things, some interesting things.

And Lee Sterling will be along hopefully with some tips that will help you out if you decide

to play a few games this weekend. He crushed it for the patrons on Thursday night with his selection of South Florida. He came on and said, wrong team favorite on the patron podcast. South Florida, I didn't watch the end of the game. Last I saw, I think it was 48 to nothing over Syracuse. I didn't know I don't follow this stuff. That's why Lee Sterling does this for a living. He came on and said Syracuse doesn't have a quarterback. They're going to be starting like a

tight end out of the Wildcat formation and that will be their offense. They're to try to line up

and run it. Well, they never had a chance. And Syracuse was favored by three points. Again,

it was 45 or 48 nothing when I turned it off last night.
