We simply cannot and will not allow some really rotten football to ruin our holiday season here at KKHI.

We will celebrate the holidays and enjoy this holiday bowl week coming up where, yeah,

there's going to be football games on all day, every day, all week long. The Kansas Jayhawks will be playing tonight at 8 o'clock. That'll be fun. Kansas State goes Thursday. Missouri plays Friday night. So a big bowl week coming up. We've got a lot more football. And we will get into the debacle of the Kansas City Chiefs, and they're ridiculous Christmas Day performance in a moment.

First, the note on Christmas, we had a wonderful Christmas here at the Keatsman House, and we wish that you,

we hope that you all had a great holiday season as well, whether you're traveling back home,

have more traveling to do or more festive things to do this week through the new year holidays.

We wish you certainly the very best.

I am not ashamed to say at my ripe old age.

And I can probably count on one hand.

This is true since I've been an adult, not as a kid.

It never counts as a kid.

But since I've been an adult, I can probably count on one

hand the number of times that the gifts I received were much better than the gifts I gave.

I almost always pride myself on finding something really good, giving good gifts, doing special things.

And Jessica and I had this thing this year. We were really committed to not just like going overboard. Like I wasn't going to go to Jocelyn's by her some big fancy necklace or something like that in a tiny little box up on the tree. I've done that through the years. We just weren't going to do that sort of thing this year. She needs a new suitcase. Her suitcase broke on our last trip to handle, but she won't let me pick that out.

So that was never going to work. We're going to have to go shopping together on that.

There are certain things that you do like that, right?

So I tried, and I tried real hard, and I don't count really my kids in this because I don't get them a lot, but what they're grown.

What I get for them, generally speaking, is better than what they get for us. We still have a done gift exchange with my daughter and she lives here. We're going to be doing that at some point this week. So whatever. So it mostly boils down to my mom will let me get her anything. She gets stuff for her great grandchildren now. So I didn't get anything for my mom. I gave her a very small little candle and things like that. But so it almost really is, pathetically, comes down to me and Jessica. And I thought I did really well. I went shopping. I went out there. I did the last minute thing. I did all kind. I got a really cool golf pull over to wear while she golfs. I got her what I think
