I think that it was very fun to tell a lot of the stories around Merlin, his origins in terms of the mythology.

But I really wanted to dig into how he was created as a character.

And as I mentioned in the previous episode, there are a lot of instances and

figures that seem to have coalesced into what we know today to be Merlin. So in this episode,

know, BBC's 2008 Merlin series, for example. Or the YA series I recently got back from my dad's storage unit,
