It is called Curiosity Weekly, and this is a podcast from Discovery that helps make sense of some of the biggest questions and ideas shaping our world,

where every week host Dr. Samantha Yamin and her guests unpack breaking science and tech news with expert

guests who make it all make sense. Now, one of the reasons I love podcasting is getting to learn

new things about the world that I live in. And I don't know about you, sometimes when I need a bit

of an escape from the world, when I want to feel a little hopeful, a little optimistic,

I like to look at all of the advances that science is making. And because you to feel a little hopeful, a little optimistic. I like to look at all of the

advances that science is making. And because you are here listening to spirits, I know that you know

the value of somebody enthusiastic telling you but the thing that they love. One episode I really

loved, by the way, for an example, is from June 11th, 2025, called Science Loves a Binary.

Dr. Sean Hercules is breaking it down.

And Dr. Hercules, one, incredible name.

And second, they are a queer non-binary cancer researcher and science communicator

talking about breast cancer, and by talking about, I mean researching, breast cancer among

people of African ancestry and how not just the science, but the policies and politics negatively affect people

and also how we can change it. So I totally love it. I love how they talk about their science.
