Hello, my friends, welcome back to the Morning Mindset.

How are you doing today?

I am excited about what we have to talk about today, because we are going to get to answer

the question, how far does God's mercy and grace extend toward us, even in the midst

of terrible sin, even in the midst of repeated wrongs that we do, we're going to find out

today, before we get there, I want to ask you to consider the ministry that we've put

together.

It's a nonprofit called Not A Needy Person.

It's based on Acts chapter 4, where all the people in the church were giving of what

they had to meet the needs of others in their community.

And not a needy person is like a worldwide version of that.

We are receiving need requests from people vetting those to make sure they're legitimate

and then making them available for others to give toward.

This is Genesis chapter 20, verses 14 to 18.

Now remember, Abraham has once again in a repeated fashion lied about his status with

his wife, Sarah.

He said she's my sister, which was partly true.

And he did so to protect himself so that this king of Bimilek wouldn't kill him in

order to get his wife.
