TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
GENESIS 21:1-7 - The Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised. 2 And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. 3 Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac. 4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. 5 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. 6 And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” 7 And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

| 0:31.6 | And it was hard. |
| 0:32.6 | It was difficult. |
| 0:33.6 | It was a challenge to your faith. |
| 0:36.2 | That's what we're going to be talking about today. |
| 0:38.5 | Now before we get in on the good news, God has for us from Genesis 21. |
| 0:43.3 | I want to ask you to consider becoming a financial partner with us here at the morning |

| 0:48.8 | And I hope you understand the spirit with which I'm asking you this. |
| 0:52.4 | I'm not all greedy about the money, God's providing for us in plenty of ways, but I am |
| 0:57.0 | about expanding the kingdom of God. |
| 0:59.5 | And that takes time. |
| 1:00.6 | That takes energy. |
| 1:01.6 | That takes planning. |
| 1:02.6 | That takes all kinds of things that I need the time to do. |
| 1:05.9 | And the finances enable us to do that. |
