| 1:24.6 | I used to hear that character was the most important thing that we should work on with our kids. |
| 1:30.5 | And I wasn't exactly sure what that meant. |
| 1:33.4 | You know, how did that flesh out in real life? |
| 1:36.5 | Well, it didn't mean that you don't teach them math or language arts. |
| 1:41.6 | It really just meant that if you have to choose between character and curriculum |
| 1:46.1 | in any given moment, I would say almost 100% of the time choose character. Now that can be |
| 1:53.7 | really tough at the moment, but in the big scheme of things, it makes a huge difference. |
| 2:05.7 | And it actually ultimately does impact our kids as learning because it's much easier to homeschool kids whose attitudes and actions aren't out of control. |
