Hey, moms, welcome to this week's podcast on cultivating your family's holiday culture.

I'm Durenda Wilson, wife to one for 30 years, mom to eight, ages 15 to 28, and a nana to

six. Well, this Christmas season is a wonderful time of the year, but the demands can often feel

overwhelming. And I mean, who doesn't want to give their family a great Christmas with warm,

wonderful memories?

The problem is really that there are about a million things we could do, but what is actually going to be the most meaningful and lasting for our particular family?

So over our many years as a family, we tried a lot of different activities that we thought might be good.

Some stuck. Some didn't. At certain points, we had to decide what we would keep doing and what we wouldn't and why.

So that's the other thing. We want to be intentional with our families, making sure that the important things stay the important

things. So today we're going to be talking about how to cultivate your family's holiday

culture. And when I say we, it's because my friend Heather is back to share with us. She has been

on the podcast before, sharing on effective tools to make learning fun.
