1:03.3 | So I am originally from the U.S., originally from Philadelphia, live now in Norway. My sort of journey |
1:09.2 | getting here started after college, I moved to New York |
1:12.5 | and worked at Credit Suisse for a bit of time. You know, that was 2008, 2009. So sort of a tough time |
1:18.8 | to be on the equity capital markets desk. So made a transition and decided to go to law school, |
1:24.8 | moved back actually to my hometown, Philadelphia, and went to law |
1:29.0 | school there and did sort of a joint program with the business school and spent a lot of time |
1:33.5 | focusing on entrepreneurship and venture capital from those two perspectives. And then after graduating, |
1:39.9 | moved out west and joined a law firm called Wilson Sincini based in Palo Alto, where I was working |
1:46.8 | very closely with really early stage startups, you know, about as early as it gets a couple |
1:51.8 | folks with an idea and sort of, you know, where do we go next all the way up? And the firm is |
1:57.7 | a pretty large law firm and works with some also big public companies as well. |
