Hi there, so glad to have you for this week's over 50 in flourishing. We are in the month of October.

You know, this is a really, really big month for women. Obviously, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

And if you saw last week's podcast or listen to it, wherever you listen to podcasts, we were talking

uninsured community and just all the different advances and changes there are in breast cancer

diagnosis and treatment. But I want today's focus to be on menopause because it's world

menopause month as well. And so we are going to close out the month with all

different kinds of conversations on menopause. Finally, the conversations are happening.

You know, they're happening here on podcasts. They're happening on social media. There are so many

women who I know who are being very, very vocal about this subject, and they are wanting to talk about

it, to share experiences, to create a sisterhood to make you feel like you're not alone, and then

doctors who are shifting full time into the care of women in midlife.
