Oh, one of the great joys of summer is eating a messy piece of fruit over the sink.

I got in there and ate those icebox plums.

Uh-huh. Delicious.

My baby has been taking bites of plums lately.

We've given him a bunch of different stone fruit lately.

Before, when you gave him a food, he would just put the entire amount of that food in his mouth, no matter how big the thing was.

Until a couple of times, I got scolded for putting a piece of chicken in front of him. It was way too big.

Well, that's a thing a pediatrician will tell you. It's like you want to keep the most attractive objects away from a child in an early age.

You hear this about screams a lot, but what is a plum or a delicious piece of chicken if not a screen?

It is the screen of the mouth.
