And they said it was pretty chilly it was not that hard a course but it was kind of something for the climbing sprint you always a hundred and fifty five K's there was some rolling hills before the two intermediate sprints were on either side of a sort of a one K nine percent climb the main climb of the day was nettle hill down not just north of Victor Harbour it's two K's eight percent and it does have a steep bit right at the end the last five hundred meters is pretty hard.

But 22 K's from the finish in a hundred and fifty five K stage really should be brought back any moves like 90% of the time one would think there is a rise green hills road after that and we had bettial in the latest jersey who Benji I think I think bettial was here on a holiday and the plan was not to be in the latest jersey.

Yes, I've got the same feeling I've got the same feeling at this race but it started off in an intermediate sprint pretty early on and right at that took it was Maribre Stenga the track boy took three seconds there which is completely relevant barge got second also relevant but he's close and you see he was close on the singer for Stenga he would did a really good pro look yeah but I mean in the grand scheme of things I don't rate him to get over course to the best riders I don't know why I'm defending I've been the biggest player.

Stenga had a lot of guys on some you know Santos did you intermediate one sprint he won he's back he's legend there you know he's going to get a word to five joys and a win everything anyway man just get one minute sorry because it is relevant to what was said after the race Matthews closed to

Bristinger's wheel in the intermediate sprint yeah or very close to barriers and who was it Parj not Tyson was over parj was just sprinting in a straight line on the barriers and he had to sort of he got squished a little bit in

how to almost hit he did hit bling right hand he apologized to Matthews but really Matthews just sprinted from the left to the right side of the road and really

squished into the barriers so just that in mind for what was said after the race okay

Matthews got one second there got the third spot so a tiny bit more in GC which is very beneficial for him so I think after the

intermediate sprint he was still pretty happy about it then echelons occurred at 100k to go it was a

UAE that smashed it together with Jacob that also was the team most prominent in the front group so

those riders were basically with a smaller group ahead I think 25 roughly people 25 30 people I would say what are any

big riders that were missing out on these echelons because I didn't really well I was sleeping so

hey to um okay there's Daniel no Daniel was there there were a few riders behind but I think UAE

decided with bling there really wasn't worth it like chef you would have made it bling had made it

what are they going to do right for 100k I remember a couple of quicks that rise were off the back

and we're fighting for the time cut for their life but yeah it came back together um in the end so

but it is clear that UAE had a plan to use the parkour and be aggressive and there was net oh there

was a second intermediate as well Corbin strong looked the quickest there he beat Matthews Betty

all did contested he came third in Eos did a lead out full like they did a reverse lead out with

highduck I think and then hate was kind of there and then chef field was kind of contesting it
