President Donald Trump is pushing back tariffs on goods from the European Union until July 9th,

to give more time for negotiations.

He had said the EU would face 50% duties starting June 1st and that he wasn't looking to make a deal.

But yesterday, he told reporters that a call from the European Commission President, asking for an extension, changed his mind.

She said she wants to get down to serious negotiation.

July 9th would be the date.

That was the date she requested.

Meanwhile, if you're holding a Memorial Day cookout to kick off the summer,

you might have noticed it was more expensive this year, thanks to tariffs.
